Synopsis:

Algiers is a romantic drama set in the exotic Casbah of Algiers, an intricate maze of narrow streets and hidden courtyards. The story revolves around the charming but notorious jewel thief, Pepe le Moko, portrayed by Charles Boyer. Pepe, a master of disguise and cunning, is wanted by the French police but remains protected by the labyrinthine layout of the Casbah and his network of local allies.
