Synopsis:

This slapstick comedy is set in prehistoric times and stars Ringo Starr as Atouk, a clumsy caveman who is in love with the beautiful Lana, played by Barbara Bach. Being the weakest member of his tribe, Atouk is bullied and ostracized, particularly by the tribe's leader, Tonda. The film is filled with physical comedy as Atouk embarks on a journey of self-discovery and survival in a harsh and comical prehistoric world. Along the way, he befriends other misfits and discovers fire, music, and various inventions. The climax of the film sees Atouk challenging Tonda for leadership and for Lana's affection.
